Welcome to Wang's Research Group
Dr. Wang joined the faculty in the Department of Applied Engineering at Jacksonville State University as an Assistant Professor in 2018. He currently also serves as the program coordinator of Design and Automation. His research focuses on Additive Manufacturing and Materials. He serves as an associate editor of the journal, Frontiers in Manufacturing Technology - Additive Processes, and a reviewer of the journals in the field, such as Additive Manufacturing and Journal of Manufacturing Processes.

Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. (2017) from The University of Alabama in Mechanical Engineering, M.S. (2013) from the Wuhan University of Technology, and a B.S. (2010) from Chongqing Jiaotong University. He is an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS).
